Amidst this floral exuberance pairs of birds flank the base of the v-forms, adding an animated pictorial quality to the ornamental framework of the entire design. A vine scroll border with palmettes like those of the field is set against a cinnamon ground, surrounded to either side by sage green minor borders, which collectively frame the field design with a lovely color contrast.
