Beautiful and Finely Woven Antique Room Size Tehran Carpet, Country of Origin: Persia, Circa Date: 1900 — Flowing gold and bronze patterns create an engaging, almost regal surface to this antique Tehran carpet. The piece is defined by its three unique borders, with the middle one sandwiched between two identical frames, which creates a graceful display of contrast that allows the eye to dance between the two distinct patterns. At the center of the carpet is a series of dark bouquets with two bright red hydrangeas topping each bundle, the bouquets arranged in elegant rows, with playfully drifting flowers featured between. The center of this captivating antique rug seems to be a continuation of the middle border, creating an almost freely floating appearance in the other two frames.
