Fine Antique Persian Tabriz Rug, Origin: Persia, Circa: Late 19th Century – The design on this Tabriz rug is a masterpiece that merges the beauty of several rows of miniature flowers of varying kinds and is truly an ornamental masterpiece that is a soothing mix of maroon, black, gold, and blues. There are seven different frames of varying widths that all contain these intricately woven flowers and leaves. Inside of all of these delicately done frames are diamond shapes filled with even more of these glorious little flowers. There are also golden shapes framing the miniature flowers and the large diamond in the middle is totally filled to the brim with even more of these maroon and other colored plants and flowers. This myriad of forms mixes together to make a glorious portrait of intricately designed floral arrangements to delight the eye.
