Ornate apricot pink spandrels decorated with a mirror-image pattern complement the sparse arabesque and contrast the oxidized olive field. Multiple sets of guardbands and formal borders decorated with flower clusters, reciprocating vinescrolls and ornate palmettes frame the traditionally Turkish field of this antique carpet woven in Oushak during the turn of the 20th century
