Beautifully Artistic Vintage Miro Art Rug, Country Of Origin / Rug Type: Vintage Scandinavian Rug, Circa Date: Mid 20th Century – Artist Joan Miro was one of the pioneers of the Surrealist Art Movement. His name belongs beside artists such as Pablo Picasso, Man Ray, Henri Matisse, and Marcel Duchamp. He produced works beginning in the 1920’s from his studio in Paris France. Like many surrealist artists, his style was a challenge to the traditional styles and the bourgeois society that produced them.
