Extremely Fine and Intricate Wool and Silk Large Vintage Persian Tabriz Rug, Country Of Origin / Rugs Type: Vintage Persian Rug, Circa Date:1970′ – This finely woven vintage Persian rug presents a kaleidoscopic pattern, dizzying in its complexity. Centered with a red and white star-like figure on a honeyed amber field, floral designs seem to spiral out over the entire vintage Persian Tabriz rug. Enmeshed with a network of golden struts, a lovely patchwork of greens and blues captures delicate filigree of silvery vines. Patches contain flowers, leaves and long-necked cranes caught in flight, forming quilt-like stars and chevrons to add to the visual attraction of the vintage rug. Small bands of luxuriously detailed mosaics accent the top and bottom of the central field, the entirety enclosed within a set of ornate borders.
