This magnificent vintage Persian Isfahan rug features a central medallion that is set against a cream background and is surrounded by the magnificently illustrated Islimi arabesque designs.

The inspiration for these magnificent Oriental rugs comes from hundreds of years of rug weaving traditions, poetry, architecture, art and nature.

The colors in this Persian Isfahan rug are rather soft and subdued. The neutral background offers a beautiful backdrop that highlights the details of the rug in such an exquisitely artistic way. It is a finely woven example that was woven using the more modern approach to colors.
