Brita Molin— Brita Molin was a Swedish artist and designer working during the mid 20th century. After graduating from the Academie Libre in Stockholm, she went on to study at the National College of Art in Stockholm. She later held a position as the head of the design department at Gothenburg University.

In addition to being a skilled graphic artist and etcher, Molin designed many area rugs and textiles, the vivid color and modern aesthetic of which brought her renown in her homeland of Scandinavia as well as abroad. She was extremely influenced by music, which is apparent in her rhythmic and joyous designs. Molin had several high-profile exhibitions during her lifetime, and her work is represented in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Biblioteque Nationale de France in Paris, as well as the Art Museum of Berlin.
