Built with tiers of red, white and black, each level of the symbol is elaborated with floral designs, interwoven and limned with light outlines. The round circular shape is ringed with a series of fronds, multicolored and unfurling with fractal edging. In each interior corner, a matching figure en-wreathed with leaves rests, the red field around them filled with blossoms and twining stems. A series of intricate borders completes the vintage Persian khorassan Mashad rug, contrasting white and black with red hues forming an attractive array of flowers.
