Starting at the outermost portion of this unique embroidery, one encounters one surprise after another. The outermost portion consists of some extensive and bounteous fringing of red and ivory threads. This gives the embroidery something of a mane, increasing the magnitude of its presence. Next comes the true soul of the embroidery, which is framed by a pair of complex borders. Eight pointed red stars populate the outer border of ivory, while the subsequent border is striped with red, ivory and blue zigzags.
