These floral elements are arranged in a diagonal grid pattern, wherein the central diagonal line contains nine flowers, the next of five, then three, then one. These lines may also be viewed as running up and down, with alternating rows of five and then four details. Each consists of a small white cross centered on top of a dark brown square; each cross is marked with a small red dot in the center, giving the images the impression of flowers. All is set against a background of ivory; an outer border is dark brown, like the squares beneath the crosses, with an inner border is bright red, like the dots within the crosses.
