Rustically Beautiful Tribal Antique Persian Heriz Rug , Country of Origin: Persia, Circa Date: 1920 – The antique Persian Heriz rugs are some of the more iconic when it comes to the world of beautiful antique Persian rugs. These antique rugs were woven in the northwest Persian area and tend to feature more geometric and tribal design motifs. At approximately 100 years old, this antique Persian Heriz rug is in excellent condition, and was made to last for many more generations. This knot is attached to a specially woven foundation that includes a thick – usually – cotton warp and weft, increasing its durability.
