This extremely elegant Aubusson has cartouches and medallions of unusually delicate proportion surrounded by finely-wrought vinescrolls and garlands of classical derivation, all on a soft bone-ivory ground. Gentle touches of magenta, rose, and cocoa accent the garlands and floral bouquets here and there, adding emphasis within the generally soft tones of the design.
