The buying and selling of antique rugs has been a passion for Jason Nazmiyal, for the past quarter century. Nazmiyal has developed a reputation among a interior designers and rug dealers as a company that provides antique rugs of exceptional quality and rareness. His collections focus largely on Persian rugs - Tabriz, Serapi, Kerman and Khorassan, but it offers other types of decorative antique rugs as well - Khotan, Chinese, Agra, Oushak, and Art Deco. Many of these pieces have remarkable histories.

They brought all of their most prized possessions with them, which included furniture, carpets and a collection of valuable antiquities. His son, Ernst, and housekeeper, Paula Fichtl, recreated in England the same work environment that Freud had used in Vienna.
Most of Freud’s antiquities were purchased through dealers. After Freud’s death in 1939, his wife, Martha, their daughter Anna, and the housekeeper continued living in his house, which they occupied until Anna Freud’s death in 1982. In accordance with her wishes, the house was converted to a museum and opened to the public in 1986.
