Serab Rugs Collection of North West Persian Carpets

Serab rugs are known for their fine long rugs or runners with a characteristic camel ground and lozenge-shaped medallions. These rugs are woven in the village of Serab, located near Herez in Persia. They are now used as a trade name for certain types of Kashgai weaving, such as Mecca Shiraz.
