Antique Senneh / Senna, Persia, Mid 19th Century - A grand hexagonal medallion hovers at the center of the abrashed russet field of this lovely antique Senneh, accompanied only by two vases with flowers, cornerpieces, and triangular lappets along the sides. A series of flowering vases against a pale sand ground comprise the border, picking up and adapting the forms of the field, while priding a framing contrast in color.
