Give the exceptionally soft coloration cognac tones set on a pale sandy gold field, the complex design recedes from the viewer's gaze to achieve a much subtler open quality. Multiple borders of linear vinescrolls, rosettes, and hooked motifs combine to frame the field with a deeper tonality and sharper graphic detail in perfect contrast to the subtlety and softness of the pomegranate design. The lustrous wool pile beautifully enhances the glowing effects of the color.
