A grand, fan-like oval medallion surrounded by a floral garland dominates the field. At its center is a smaller medallion of lotus flowers with a laurel wreath at its center. A spare array of flowers floats amidst the open aubergine ground, with entwined figure-eight grapevines in horizontal panels at either end of the rug.
