Antique Caucasian Rugs -- The design wonderfully recalls the village weaving culture from Northwest Azerbaijan that extends from modern Azerbaijan into Armenia and Georgia.  Burnt sienna dominates the background with intricate geometric designs in burnt orange, ivory, camel, blue and saffron gold filling in the motifs.  This antique Kazak Caucasian rug is an excellent example of the striking characteristics of rugs from this region.
