A main border of openwork floral pompoms linked by tiny thin vinescrolls framed the field, reinforced by a minor border reminiscent of bamboo wickerwork. The creamy ground color used consistently across the rug endows it with a wonderful decorative unity, nicely enhanced by the sheen of the lustrous, reflective wool pile.
