Antique Persian Rugs -- Antique Kerman (Kirman) Persian Carpet, late nineteenth centuryfloral bouquets sprouting small vines in shades of red, ivory, and blue are arrayed in superimposed horizontal rows across the soft yellow ground on this opulent little Kerman. Several smaller borders frame the field collectively, two on a blue ground enclosing an ivory ground border in between, and two on saffron ground like the field. The carpet has a remarkably unified sense of color and design amidst all the variation in detail.
